Are you an enterprising, strong Accounting Manager looking for an immediate position? Jamie Benway with Robert Half is currently hiring for a progressive company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every single day

• Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

• Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

• Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant

Requirements - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

• Solid technology and analytical abilities

• CPA/MBA preferred

• Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Recent relevant financial experience
