Description:

Position Summary: Optimizes the use of Lawson and related procurement systems, policies, procedures and processes, to enhance the cost-effectiveness of the procurement process. Manages the acquisition, submission, reporting and receipt of contract compliance, pricing and performance data for key internal and external stakeholders. Inventory control of Specialty Department stock and non-stock supplies. Maintaining dynamic inventory levels under stressful conditions and having an excellent working relationship with clinical staff and physicians.

Education Requirements:

Two-year associate degree required. Four-year degree in health-related and/or business preferred.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of hospital materiel management and/or procurement experience required. Demonstrable skills and proficiency with supply chain information system, preferably Lawson. Proficiency with use of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and in writing to a broad range of audiences in the clinical environment.

Pay Range:$17.85 - $23.33

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
