Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at our retail establishment.

Duties: - Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude - Scan items, provide pricing information, and process payments accurately - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision - Assist customers in locating products and answering inquiries - Promote store loyalty programs and special promotions to customers - Process product returns and exchanges efficiently - Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer needs

Skills: - Proficiency in retail math for accurate transactions - Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively - Knowledge of stock procedures to assist with inventory management - Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries - Fluency in English for effective communication with customers and team members - Organizational skills to maintain a tidy workspace and manage multiple tasks - Experience in cash handling to ensure register accuracy - Ability to conduct product demos or provide information on merchandise - Upselling skills to increase sales opportunities - Bilingual proficiency is a plus for serving diverse customer needs

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 -- 30 per week
