RESPONSIBILITIES:

- - Perform daily general maintenance on steel processing and handling equipment. Slitters, cranes and lift trucks.

``` - - Perform/coordinate Preventive and Predictive Maintenance plans and schedules.

```{=html}

``` - - Administrative duties include the inputting and continuous review of data for our computer PM program and coordinating work performed by outside contractors.

``` - - Effective in the safe use of hand tools and testing equipment to carry out electrical/mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic repairs.

``` - - Review daily operator inspections and perform general housekeeping duties as required.

``` - - Install and/or oversee installations of new equipment utilizing blue prints and schematics.

``` - - Ensure updates and modifications to existing machinery and equipment are completed within the prescribed code.

``` - - Completes daily inspection reports for lifting equipment as required.

``` - - Reports and/or corrects any unsafe stored or damaged product.

``` - - Helps maintain safety standards and good housekeeping in all work areas.

``` - - Assists with various other duties as directed by the Plant Manager/ Supervisor and trains new employees as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- - High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience; English spoken and written.

``` - - Post Secondary education/training would be an asset.

```{=html}

``` - - Maintenance experience is a must.

```{=html}

``` - - All plant equipment and prescribed trade tools as required.

```{=html}

``` - - Testing, training and safety procedures to be followed.
