Description

The Software Solution Engineer is responsible for implementing software solutions in business environments throughout various industries. The ideal candidate for this position is a strong communicator and comfortable working directly with customers to identify requirements and pain points, design an innovative solution, and deploy a successful implementation. They will create both end user and technical documentation as well as lead presentations of completed work to client stakeholders.

To transform business processes for our customer partners, the engineer will use modern technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform Services, Co-Pilot, Laserfiche, and other workflow automation platforms. This role will assist the project team to analyze, document, develop, and deliver projects and possess the necessary technical skills and certifications to engineer within our product stack.

They must have a sense of urgency, a proactive nature with the expertise to take initiative. The must demonstrate the ability to maintain strong and effective working relationships with the team. They must possess the capability to identify and address issues that would keep the team from meeting projected performance, quality, and revenue goals if applicable. With a strong teamwork dynamic, the ideal candidate will openly participate in regular discussions on challenges and improvements to both customer projects and department processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer's overall technical requirements, priorities, and success measures to design system architecture and implementation paths.

• Lead/participate in solution design discussions with all members of the project.

• Complete projects on-time and within budget.

• Work within a team dynamic for brainstorm meetings and retrospectives.

• Resolve conflicts and blockers with creative problem-solving.

• Lead presentations to internal and external groups on completed work.

• Stay up to date on product catalogue/stack by maintaining certifications and through on-going training.

• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in application development and architecture.

• At least 3 years of experience designing and creating apps and automating workflows.

• At least 3 years of experience analyzing and visualizing data in reports and dashboards.

• A 'process oriented' mindset along with great documentation skills.

• Knowledge and technical proficiency in adjacent technologies such as or similar to: Laserfiche, PowerApps, SharePoint, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, Azure Logic Apps, Flow, SQL, AD, Visual Studio, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, etc. (certifications a plus).

• Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences both technical and non-technical.

• Ability to climb stairs and ladder

• Must be able to work in confined spaces such as but not limited to server closets, under desks, etc.

Preferred

• At least 3 years of experience managing application infrastructure.

• Prior experience with SQL Server and database architecture and data modeling. .
