ELM Fieldsight, LLC in The Colony, TX is seeking Lead Electrical Engineer(s) to research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

Develop and program new features to the embedded controls platform.

Research industry trends for future system enhancements.

Test new system Features for reliability and robustness.

Support updates and enhancements for previously deployed systems.

Provide guidance and mentorship for junior engineers.

Lead design reviews for new feature sets.

Implement adherence to the established engineering design processes and procedures.

Lead integration for electrical system with the other design disciplines of the product.

This position does not supervise any personnel or participate in any management decisions, nor does this position plan, direct or coordinate the activities of any personnel.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field of study and least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in electrical engineering.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

1. Develop base software and software algorithms for microgrid controllers

2. Programming using National Instruments Labview

3. Lead a team of junior Software Developers

4. Interface with customers for integration of microgrid controllers into customer building management systems

5. Interface with Back-End Database Architecture Engineers to develop strategies for exchanging data for long-period storage
