Our client, a food manufacturer located in The Bronx, is looking for hardworking, motivated Forklift Operators to join their distribution center. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience driving a forklift, a forklift certification and a valid and current driver's license. This is a temp to perm opportunity.

Job Title: Forklift operator

Location: The Bronx, NY

Pay Range: $17.00-$17.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12pm - 8pm

What’s the Job?

• Operate forklift to transport pallet-packed goods around the storage facility.

• Load and unload goods from the freezer area into railroad cars and trucks.

• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.

• Ensure loads are secure.

What’s Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Forklift Certification (valid)

• Clear driving record and a valid driver's license.

• 2+ years of experience driving a forklift

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, able to work in hot and cold environments.
