McGovern Medical SchoolatUTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, is seeking applications for a full-time, non-tenure clinical track for Assistant/Associate Professor or Full Professor in Pediatric Anesthesia within theDepartment of Anesthesiology.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching residents and medical students the skills and theory of this specialty and clinical activitiesin the operating rooms.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. We require board certification or board eligible status in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology. Candidates should have a M.D. or D.O. degree, four years of post-graduate training: 1 year of internship in any accredited internship program, 3 years of anesthesiology residency and 1 year fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia. Candidate should have excellent clinical and communication skills. We expect teamwork with a focus on patient safety. Simulation teaching would be a great plus.
