McGovern Medical Schoolat UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor faculty position in theDepartment of Pediatrics,Division of Pulmonary.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The selected candidate will participate in the clinical, teaching, and research programs of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine. The Division of Pulmonary Medicine is committed to providing the highest quality of patient care as well as conducting basic and translational research relevant to pulmonary and /or life-threatening disorders in Children. This specialist will provide consults at variousChildren's Memorial Hermann Hospital locationsand other hospitals and will have outpatient clinic responsibilities in UT Physician clinics at the Texas Medical Center and outlying centers. Most of these services are provided in a teaching hospital with a strong academic environment as demonstrated by our Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine fellowship training program endorsed by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Qualifications:

  • Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License.

  • Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary

  • Background in Pulmonary Medicine.
