PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Serve as a Driver Education instructor teaching and maintaining classroom skills and data that align with State-mandated curriculum. Able to process electronic information via State portal.Possess the ability to oversee hands-on behind the wheel training of road skills necessary to successfully complete a Michigan Roads Skills test.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Create and/or follow State-mandated curriculum.
2. Preparation of any class materials including visual aids, handouts as deemed necessary.
3. Track and maintain accurate records of multiple individual student drivers
4. Schedule road skills training for multiple student drivers
5. Collaborate with office personnel and other driver education instructors to schedule class and on-the-road time to ensure that all students receive minimum road skill training time
6. Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Education Director.
