Citigroup WCR Loss Reporting SME and Strategic Initiatives Lead in Tampa, Florida

The WCR Loss Reporting team is part of DART (Data, Analytics, Reporting and Technology) organization and focuses on providing quantitative risk metrics and consolidated reporting to our clients who use the information to make business management decisions.

The team is responsible for production and analysis of loan loss reserves, stress testing, and loss forecast production and data submission for Wholesale CCAR, CECL and various internal stress testing processes.

This position will be focused on liaising with our various technology partners and manage the team's technology projects. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. The role will also work closely with CCAR Team lead in NY supporting both the FR Y-14A submission process for wholesale credit and the development of automated solutions to streamline future submissions to meet the rapidly growing internal and regulatory needs.

Reponsibilities:

  • Liaise with our technology partners and manage technology projects

  • Work closely with CCAR Team lead in NY supporting both CCAR and internal stress reporting processes for wholesale credit risk

  • Manage the testing of all system and data related enhancements and fixes with required artifacts

  • Troubleshoot, investigate, document, reconcile and resolve issues and special requests

  • Proposes, designs, defines, tests and implements changes to system processes

  • Develops automated solutions for EUC reduction, including development of Tableau dashboards

  • Maintains the team's system related resources, server capacity, status, uptime, disk storage, SharePoint site

  • Overall leader on JIRA boards and tasks

  • Support for business and workstream leads

  • Tech support for team in all functional aspects, such as SAS, database, Incidents, systems

  • Works closely with key partners to support and advance their projects being developed.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of risk metrics including stress testing, loan loss reserves or economic capital

  • Experience in credit risk and familiarity with Citi’s consumer and institutional businesses an advantage.

  • Organized, clear thinker, with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to execute complex and dynamic processes in a financial institution.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in advanced MS Excel functionalities and constructing complex analyses and formulas.

  • Proficiency in Tableau is required.

  • Knowledge of SAS or SQL is preferred. Ability to work with large data sets with millions of records.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact with senior management and summarize and present data from insightful and actionable perspectives.

  • Demonstrated facility to interact and work effectively with diverse teams, as well as lead projects with multiple counterparts across organizations.

  • Ability to work under pressure will be critical.

  • Subject matter expertise regarding risk/finance and banking regulations

  • 10+ years experience with Regulatory related issues (Stress Testing, CCAR, GAAP, etc)

  • Experience in complex project management

  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills including influencing and negotiation skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication / negotiation / presentation skills

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
