The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Job Summary

  • As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and managing solutions for our clients using Microsoft technologies. You will also troubleshoot and resolve issues, provide technical support, and collaborate with other engineering, architecture, and operations teams on best practices.

  • You will join our team of other Engineering experts in Microsoft solutions and will work on various projects involving Intune, Azure, AVD/W365, M365, Outlook, and automation tools. You will also help our clients migrate to Intune-managed endpoints and services, optimize their performance, and secure their data.

  • In this role, you will use your skills and experience in Intune, Azure, AVD/W365, M365, Outlook, and automation to deliver high-quality services to our customers. You will implement and maintain infrastructures using Microsoft technologies and will provide guidance and support to other engineers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the day-to-day engineering activities of all Intune policies & controls, endpoint configurations, peripherals, and connectors as they relate to the Microsoft Azure/Intune Product suite.

•Mentor and guide level 2 staff and provide SME advice on all network operations center problem calls.

•Create and maintain documentation for responsible technologies including diagrams, SOPs, TSS, end user guides, & technology runbooks just to name a few.

•Ensuring compliance across all Intune-managed devices and creating appropriate exception reporting to quickly identify areas of non-compliance.

•Create and maintain technology related documents and review recommended best practices to aid in continuous improvement and decrease Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

•Monitor the health & performance of the client applications and infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency.

•Contribute to current and future product development.

•Lead and execute technology and platform implementations and migrations.

•Provide escalated technical support and training for Tier I and Tier II technical personnel.

•Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing service delivery, and automating manual processes.

•Provide timely, effective, clear, and concise communications.

•Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches to reduce overhead associated with manual processes.

Skills & Experiences:

•4-6 years’ Engineering-level experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Windows based applications such as M365, Teams, etc.

•Proficient in Microsoft Intune software administration, Compliance, Device Configuration Profiles, App Protection Policies, App configurations, Conditional Access, PowerShell, PowerShell Modules, Custom roles, Storage containers, Azure Active Directory, Automation accounts.

•Lead or contribute to technology discussions, speak confidently and concisely to items related to your technology, and help lead other technology teams to a common solution

•Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment while at the same time able to work independently to complete deliverables often with slim deadlines.

•Ability to work well under pressure and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Working knowledge of Teams, Teams Calling, SharePoint, & Copilot preferred but not required.

•Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience preferred.

•4-6 years’ experience with Intune, Azure, AVD/W365, M365, Outlook, & automation desirable.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $145K - $182K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
