Our client, a global real estate services company, is seeking a Systems Repairman to join their team. As a Systems Repairman you will be esponsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing/plant equipment. They will perform preventive maintenance and calibration activities, ensuring the efficient operation of our plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong organization skills and abilities to collaborate with others, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Systems Repairman

Location: Syracuse, NY

Pay Range: $37.75/hour

What’s the Job?

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and maintain all plant equipment.

• Install, test, repair, and replace motors, drives, controls, starters, lights, and power systems.

• Follow industry best practices for safety procedures, including Arc Flash Protection and Lock Out Tag Out.

• Safely operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, carts, lifts, and boom lifts.

• Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

What’s Needed?

• Combination of 5-10 years of Electrical experience, College Degree, technical school, or formal apprenticeship program.

• Journeyman’s card.

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in the Electrical trade in the previous 5 years.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches, and perform advanced math calculations.

• High School Diploma - Technical school preferred.
