    Position Description:

    Responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on pregnant women to assess the health and development of the fetus. Thoroughly analyzes the information or previous test results to clarify the information requested by the ultrasound examination. Confidently selects the suitable equipment to produce the best quality exam, i.e. which machine to use, as well as proper selection of transducer array and frequency. Expertise in using ultrasound technology will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed images, aiding in the diagnosis and management of high-risk pregnancies. Perform ultrasound examinations on pregnant women to evaluate fetal growth, anatomy, and well-being. Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment and techniques to obtain high-quality images. Assess and document fetal abnormalities, anomalies, and potential complications. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound findings and provide accurate diagnoses. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions. Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques. Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of ultrasound examinations

    Requirements:

  • Education/Certification/Licensure

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate from accredited sonography program or graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography program accredited by the AMA committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.

  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

    Pay Range: $33.00 - $60.00 DOE
