The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate services in the daily operations of the department.

• EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

• Required:

• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or a Bachelor’s degree in another field or current matriculation in a Bachelor’s degree with an established program end date.

• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required

• Preferred:

• Certification in a specialty area.

• EXPERIENCE

• Required:

• Three (3) years’ experience as a staff nurse with a demonstrated expertise in clinical field. (Operating Room)

• Preferred:

• Previous nursing leadership work experience.

• SPECIAL SKILLS / EQUIPMENT

• Working knowledge of MS Outlook.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
