Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Support EHR systems and help to develop and optimize clinical workflows. Responsible for developing and maintaining EHR software, training clinical support staff and medical staff on how to use information systems correctly, analyze clinical data, identify areas for improvement, and support and help implement system upgrades as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, life science, or related field or 3 years’ experience as a clinical analyst. One to three years of experience in data management in a healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of SQL programming preferred. Preferred candidates hold licensure as a RN or LPN with advanced education, certification, and experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Cloud platforms, and other software technologies preferred. Ability to analyze data using statistical software (Crystal Reports/Business Objects, Tableau, or similar desirable). Strong leadership and project management skills. Experience with Epic preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have demonstrable experience and knowledge of clinical workflows, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clinical support staff, medical staff and technical colleagues in the Information Systems and Technology field.

The employee must occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance and color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay Range $68,500 – $72,000 annually.
