SUNY Upstate Medical University Administrative Coordinator in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

Project Coordinator for various educational activities within the Department. Performs various coordinating duties, primarily focused on administrative, management and educational functions, associated with the operation of a project / program within the Psychiatry Department.

Typical duties may be general in nature such as developing and implementing administrative policies, maintaining record systems, participation in overall planning and organization; participation, organization and coordination of educational activities and direction or supervision of administrative staff; or more specific duties such as oversight or coordination of purchasing, payroll, human resources, budget and financial reporting or other administrative functions. May provide other, as needed, assistance to the program or department head, and may assist in the preparation of grant requests and other reports.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and competency in appropriate computer software applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field and 2 years related experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
