General Scope of Job The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and owning the coordination Quality initiatives within the Sharp business unit while developing, implementing, maintaining a quality system consistent with established standards (e.g. ISO 9001), customer expectations, and the Pregis Production System. The quality manager will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing our quality management strategy across multiple manufacturing sites and provide leadership to achieve business objectives using process improvement tools and strategies that improve overall quality and customer success. This position may train other department leaders in quality assurance concepts and strategies. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement, enhanced product quality, and operational efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop, implement, maintain, and continually improve a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) across all sites to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with ISO standards and in alignment with the Pregis Production System Oversees and manages the work of the quality staff. Develops and initiates internal standards and processes for inspection, testing and evaluation Directs employees engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure process and product compliance are maintained and process improvements are sustained Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality Set targets for improvement and reporting progress updates to management Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality...
