JOB REQUIREMENTS: Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Receiving Team Lead for our Sun Prairie, Wisconsin warehouse. Job Summary: To oversee the operations of the Receiving department, including having the responsibilities of all positions within the Receiving department. This position will also take an active role in the management of inventory monitoring. Essential Job Functions: Key receiving data into the computer from purchase orders, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments. Monitor and correct inventory discrepancies in bulk and shelf bins. Contact manufacturers and distributors to reconcile any discrepancies from inbound shipments. Oversee and monitor performance of all positions in the Receiving department which includes assigning daily tasks, ensuring accurate receipt of inbound products, proper labeling and bar-coding of products, and communicating with Purchasing regarding product related issues. Perform larger inventory management projects to include counting of miscellaneous inventory on a daily and monthly basis. Review open purchase order reports; communicate with corporate office and Inside Sales Representatives regarding inventory issues. Job Requirements & Qualifications: Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required Previous receiving experience required Supervisory experience is preferred Forklift certified or ability to become forklift certified is preferred Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. Basic computer skills, ability to operate a Windows-based computer and data entry Ability to differentiate details related to product codes and descriptions (such as verifying a string of numbers) Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages.
