Job Details:
The Lead Mammo Tech under the direction of the Radiologist, performs various mammography services including bone densitometry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in the performance of stereotactic biopsies, fine needle aspirations, and localizations.
May be required to perform QA/QC testing as prescribed by the ACR, FDA, or state inspecting agencies.
Assists radiologists as needed.
Oversees daily work flow schedule and departmental functions.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Valid NY State License. Must be certified in mammography. 2-4 years of mammography experience required. Excellent technical, organizational, and customer service skills. Must be certified in mammography.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an approved School of Radiology.

Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
