STOUGHTON TRAILERS LLC CDL Driver in STOUGHTON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate fleet trucks and trailers to transport various freight over short and long distances. Ensure that all operations related to your transport are compliant with state and federal laws and regulations. Perform routine inspection and manage preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer repairs to inhouse maintenance team. Work with dispatch team to optimize routes and loads while maintaining appropriate paperwork and records require under applicable industry, state, and federal guidelines, regulations, and laws. Alone or with assistance, hook and unhook trailers, secure freight, tarp, and un-tarp freight depending on the type of trailer. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Licenses/Certifications: Valid Commercial Driver\'s License / CDL (unless applying as a student) Acceptable MVR/Motor Vehicle Record for Class A vehicles One-year previous tractor/trailer driving experience (unless applying as a Student Driver) Meet all standards (medical, safety, etc.) required by the DOT/Department of Transportation Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of all applicable DOT/Department of Transportation Regulations and Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to navigate with flexibility in a changing business environment.
