Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a System Test Engineer to work for a DoD customer based out of Warren, MI. This team is responsible for developing autonomous software for their robotic combat vehicles. This individual will be developing/maturing high level product requirements, leading architecture changes for autonomous software, and running tests for ground robotic combat vehicles. This role will require a secret clearance and Insight Global will process the ideal candidate for an interim clearance!

Responsibilities Include:

* Test coordination of quarterly/yearly software testing events

* Develop test specifications to verify high level product requirements

* Developing test plans for test cases

* Willingness to develop and run tests using software, simulations, and/or vehicle

* Ability to act as an integration and test engineer to collect data for ROS (robotic operating system) based autonomous ground vehicle systems

* Willingness to drive architecture changes for autonomous software for ground combat vehicles

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related engineering field

* 4+ years of experience implementing system engineering best practices, especially software system testing, and project management

* Previous experience coordinating multi-faceted team for technical evaluation

* Basic knowledge of vehicle controls, sensors, and functional safety * Understanding of behavior, planning, and motion control of a robotic system

* Experience in robotics/autonomous systems

* Experience with MBSE using SysML, UML tools null
