Job Description

The Department of Engineering Technology seeks to expand its pool of applicants for potential adjunct faculty positions. We are seeking Master’s and Doctoral-qualified candidates to teach undergraduate and graduate online and face-to-face courses and/or labs in the following disciplines:

Quality / Engineering Management / Engineering Technology:

  • Quality

  • Manufacturing Planning

  • Six Sigma

  • Research Methods

  • Engineering Economy

  • Supply Chain Management and Logistics

  • Ergonomics

  • Drafting and solid modeling

  • Machining

  • Materials

  • Mechanics (statics, dynamics, fluids, etc.)

  • Mechanical analysis

  • Thermodynamics

Interested candidates must submit a cover letter, resume, and copies of unofficial transcripts with the application.

Required Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include a Masters, (Doctorate required for graduate teaching), in a field related to Technology, Engineering, or Business discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching area(s). Online courses are delivered via the Canvas, and candidates for these positions should have experience with this or a similar learning management system. Adjunct positions are often available during fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Preferred Education/Experience: Preferred education/experience/skills (additional qualifications): An earned doctorate in a field related to Technology, Engineering, or Business discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching area(s). Prior college teaching experience and appropriate professional certifications and/or licenses are a plus.
