DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Basic Qualifications Education/Training: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate program in one of the following areas: Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Skill(s): Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel; excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information; a willingness to learn; detail oriented; dedicated work ethic, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently; strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work without distraction; must have completed introductory accounting courses and have a basic understanding of financial principles.

Program Details This internship opportunity is open to undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates.

The 2024 summer program will run approximately 10 weeks May August.

This position will be based in State College, PA

This position is Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Intern Duties and Responsibilities As a Credit Intern you will have the chance to contribute to our initiatives through engaging and meaningful work assignments. You will be responsible for various tasks associated with underwriting commercial loans, including spreading financial statements, completing cash flows, analyzing financial statements, and providing administrative support as needed.

Essential Duties 1. Performs a variety of duties to support the credit function of which the following are illustrative: a. Spread Financial Statements and Tax Returns. b. Compute cash flow analyses. c. Process financial statements letters of request. d. Attend and contribute to meetings. e. Provide administrative assistance. f. Shadow credit analysts and others, assisting with day-to-day tasks. g. Complete other related duties as assigned. 2. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. 3. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place. 4. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Company's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. 5. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel. 6. Responds to inquiries relating to your area, or to requests from customers, other Company personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

Ancillary Duties 1. Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the department, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
