California Maternal Quality Care Collaobrative (CMQCC) located in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, is committed to transform maternity care in California by defining, disseminating and implementing outpatient clinical best practices and quality improvement principles and techniques, and by providing quality improvement tools and strategies for clinicians to improve the outcomes for pregnant women.
The CMQCC Program Evaluator will work collaboratively with CMQCC leadership and California State leadership to develop a comprehensive Maternal Health needs assessment and Strategic Plan to reduce Materal Mortality and Morbidity. This position will also be responsible for developing and recommending a comprehensive maternal health data set to track progress, determining and establishing the mechanisms needed to establish the dashboard. Once established the candidate will prepare data recap documents to assist with decision-making, submit data reports to State and Federal agencies as requested and perform at a minimum, an annual review of the data set to inform partner groups of findings and recommendations.

Duties include:
• Knowledge and experience implementing Quality Improvement initiatives and programs.
• Develop, implement, administer and assist in evaluating programs.
• Outreach to varied partners by: analyzing data, creating reports, reviewing trends, implementation of program strategies and making program improvement recommendations.
• Contribute to outreach strategies related to program communications, partnerships recruitment and development, and fundraising.
• Create, write, edit and/or advise in the development of program curriculum, Quality Improvement Toolkits or complex content for proposals, grants, peer-reviewed publications, and other program activities.
• Contribute to and inform on strategic program/entity planning.
• Coach and mentor program staff.
• Understanding and commitment to Birth Equity and working with communities of color.
• Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
• Ability to oversee and direct staff and volunteers.
• Self-directed and accountable for driving program goals and objectives.
