Fairview Health Services Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care in St Paul, Minnesota

Practice Description

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Urgent Care Clinics. Join our growing practice seeing patients at our eleven urgent care locations in the Minneapolis-St Paul area and surrounding suburbs. This position will focus primarily on our North and/or East locations but has the potential to practice at other locations.

Practice Details:

  • Join our team of 45+ urgent care providers.

  • Patient encounters average 20-30 patients per day in a 10 hour shift.

  • Opening(s): 1- flexible FTE from .6 to 1.0 - Flexible schedule, working an average every third weekend (more weekend available if desired).

  • No Call required.

  • As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.

  • Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited formal Family Nurse Practitioner training program.

  • BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC.

  • Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.

  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.

  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required)

Additional Qualifications

  • 2 years of previous Urgent Care, Primary Care, ER, or Hospitalist experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
