Benewah Community Hospital is looking for a Chief Executive Officer who has experience with a county owned Critical Access Hospitals and regulatory compliance oversite, positive provider relations, promote staff retention and longevity. Provides overall leadership and staff direction while establishing a culture of positive, open communication, accountability, and thoughtful decision-making. Approves and adopts administrative/operational policies, procedures; maintains accountability for the performance of the entire facility. Stays current with industry standards, policies and operations. Overall responsibility for the design, marketing, promotion, delivery, risk management and quality of healthcare programs and services provided to communities served. Ensures effective management of the human resources at BCH according to current, authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations. Reviews and approves all financial reports, budgets and major expenditures, subject to the ultimate authority and control of the hospitals governing board. Oversees recruitment and retention, employee satisfaction and engagement, and maximizing growth potential of employees. Effectively engages and establishes strong working relationships with the employees and others, as well as within the communities served by BCH. Is active and intentional in Provider relationships: fostering relationships, enhance recruitment, and improve engagement. Develop a strategic plan. Required to live within forty-five (45) minutes of the facility.
