Position Description: RN – Registered Charge Nurse

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

• ACLS Certification if required by department

• RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion in lieu of education. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid.

• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred Education:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing, BS in a healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification is required within 7 months of hire/promotion Experience: · 18 months of RN experience in acute care is required · 1 year of leadership experience is preferred Specific Skills:

• Interpersonal skills

• Critical thinking skills

Location: Tampa, FL

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Shift: Shift 1

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
