Overview As a Bindery & Finishing Technician, you will assist with the printing process of the Print Services Department. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the bindery and finishing equipment. Additionally, you will operate finishing machinery and preparing work orders for distribution, this will include, but not be limited to, cutting, corner rounding, die cutting, fold packaging, laminating, punching, filling supply orders, stocking, and labeling of materials. Requirements Additional Duties Include: Utilize cutting equipment to cut finished and unfinished print materials. Prepare materials for storage or shipping which includes shrink wrapping, packaging and/or labeling print materials. Will conduct some manual finishing tasks such as applying padding compound to material which requires padding (i.e. notepads, books, etc) and other custom or personalized requests based on project. Will use various machinery to conduct finishing tasks that include, but not limited to, die cutting, corner rounding and/or drilling. Set up, operate, and maintain various machinery within the department.
