PeaceHealth is seeking a Cath Lab Manager for a full time, exempt position. We welcome candidates with a RN or Tech background for this role!

The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $58.88 – $88.32. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

About this position!

This position oversees the day-to-day operational and clinical activities of the Cath Lab, Nuclear Medicine and the EKG departments and reports directly to the Director of Cardiovascular Services.

Essential Functions

  • Supervise staff and give technical direction, monitor and prioritize workflow.

  • Manage the selection, training and development of staff.

  • Assist in development and monitoring of budget. Perform needs assessment and make recommendations for capital purchases.

  • Ensure adequate staffing and effective utilization of resources.

  • Assure services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.

  • Establish effective relationships with physicians.

What you bring!

RN's:

  • Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.

  • Minimum 5 years RN experience required in IR, Radiology, etc, including 2 years of supervisory experience.

  • Oregon state RN license

  • BLS required upon hire

Tech's:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology with advanced certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist required upon hire OR, military education coupled with registration and minimum 5 years’ experience in lieu of accredited school of radiology technology. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration or other related fields preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years tech experience required in interventional cardiology/radiology, including two years of supervisory experience.

  • Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. (Required)

  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications. (Required)

Education:

  • RN's: Graduate of an accredited State Board of Nursing. BSN required.

  • Tech's: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology with advanced certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist required upon hire OR, military education coupled with registration and minimum 5 years’ experience in lieu of accredited school of radiology technology. Working Conditions

Lifting

  • Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

  • Predominantly operates in an office environment.

  • Some time spent on site in medical/hospital setting.

Mental/Visual

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
