Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic CPA firm based near Union County, NJ, offering comprehensive accounting services to a diverse clientele. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and maintaining long-term client relationships and are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team.

Job Description:

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper at the firm, you will be responsible for managing multiple accounting clients, each with separate QuickBooks files. Your primary duties will include standard bookkeeping functions such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Additionally, you will handle client write-ups to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain multiple QuickBooks files for various clients

• Perform standard bookkeeping tasks including AP, AR, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

• Prepare client write-ups to provide comprehensive financial overviews.

• Ensure all financial data is accurate, up-to-date, and complies with accounting principles.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop is mandatory.

• Previous experience in a CPA firm is a plus, but not required.

• Experience with multiple accounting clients, particularly in industries such as real estate developments and property management, is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

• Degree not required.
