Position Purpose
Responsible for the use of comparative databases, including MIDAS+. Facilitates, leads, and/or participates in various teams and committees. Performs data collection and analysis for quality, risk and service related activities (i.e. complaints & grievances, patient satisfaction falls, medication events, etc.). Prepares reports and works with managers, supervisors and front line staff to develop action plans to improve outcomes.
What you will do
Responsible for all patient grievances
Assume responsibility for the data collection and reporting of quality, risk, and service data
Perform data analysis, ensuring variances are within acceptable standards
Lead/facilitate Root Cause Analyses and FMEAs
Perform medical record review and/or abstraction, reporting routine data as well as any significant adverse events
NDNQI Administratorresponsible for adding or removing users/updating hospital administrators and updating hospital units
Assist in the coordination of on-site investigations by various external reviewers (i.e. DPH, JC, and/or BORM)
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in healthcare field required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
CPHQ certification preferred
Current clinical licensure in the healthcare field, i.e. RN, etc. preferred
Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in Quality is required
