Responsibilities:

The Nurse Supervisor oversees patient-care operations, coordinates, and organizes personnel and other resources to meet the needs of the department. Assists DON with the 24/7 supervision of all nursing service function, clinical competency, identifying and implementing quality improvement areas, as well as standards of nursing care. Assists DON in the planning, developing and the direct implementation of nursing practice, policy, and service development to comply with the standards set forth by the Michigan Board of Nursing, CMS Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, and applicable State and Federal regulatory and licensing bureaus.
