Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced IT Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for implementing and managing our organization's security systems and ensuring that our data, as well as information systems, are kept protected. This role requires extensive knowledge of operating systems, particularly Microsoft Windows Security Suite, and security platforms like Azure AD or Entra ID.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate, monitor and enhance IT infrastructure with an emphasis on security.

2. Identify and define system security requirements.

3. Design and implement network security solutions to protect against hackers, viruses and other threats.

4. Examine and evaluate our computer systems to spot any weaknesses that might make information systems vulnerable to attack.

5. Conduct thorough security risk assessments both on a routine basis and as necessary in response to new potential threats.

6. Ensure data and network security are never compromised.

7. Monitor systems for any irregularities, conduct thorough audits of systems, software applications, and oversee all installations, changes, and updates to ensure the security of our company's IT infrastructure.

8. Provide technical advice on security solutions and best practices to IT team members and management.

9. Keep up-to-date with the latest IT security trends and news.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

3. Professional certifications in Microsoft Security or equivalent will be favored.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Security Suite.

5. Extensive experience with Azure AD or Entra ID.

6. In-depth knowledge of data protection and cryptography.

7. Strong knowledge of security methodologies, processes, and technical security solutions (firewall and intrusion detection systems).

8. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

9. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

10. Ability to cope with high-level stress and rapidly changing environments.

11. Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
