Growth Ortho Satellite Clinic Coordinator in Somerset, Kentucky

Bluegrass Orthopaedics is hiring a full-time Satellite Clinic Coordinator in Somerset, KY. Basic Function The Satellite Coordinator is responsible for the smooth conduct and efficiency of the Satellite Clinics. This associate will keep an open communication with each office and address any issues that may arrise. Job Relationship Reports to Clinical Manager Positions supervised: none Non-Exempt position Qualifications Preferred completion of accredited training program for clinical assisting or a combination of education/work experience in the clinical setting of a medical office. Job Knowledge EMR/PMS Greenway Intergy preferred Meaningful Use/PQRS Medical Terminology OSHA Healthcare compliance Skills and Abilities Organization skills Ability to obtain patient vital signs Exceptional customer service skills Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow. Strong communication skills Responsibilities Assist physician/physician assistant in exam rooms as needed for all satellite clinics. Completes reviews and tracks schedules for satellite clinics. Keeps communication open with each facility and will address any issues. Obtains vital signs and brief history related to office visit. Apply all casts/splints needed in satellite clinics. Documents patient medical information in EHR Maintains supplies and performs periodic cleaning as delegated. Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls. Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed and available in patients’ medical record prior to their appointment. Assists in completion of required medical forms related to patient visit. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Physical Requirements Good visual acuity, hand-finger dexterity, ability to speak and hear. Able to lift and carry in excess of 25 pounds, which may require pushing, pulling and essentially utilizing a full range of body movement. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, grasp and stand for extended periods of time. Standards: Understands and follows the standards of the Bluegrass Orthopaedic Employee Manual Understands and follows the Bluegrass Practice Responsibility Program, Code of Conduct And completes all yearly compliance trainings and educational programs.
