Job Overview The Hubbell Summer Internship Program is a 12 week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell. Product Development Engineering Interns will typically support one or more experienced engineers in performance of assignments, spend time shadowing team members, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as the day-to-day operations of the engineering department. Interns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which will help them build a strong network within the Hubbell community. Each Internship is customized to address the interests of the candidate and the current business need. Projects will vary, but attempt to include the following: Knowledge and understanding of the product development process from conceptualization to realization. Experience in planning and organizational skills. Direct engineering contribution to the product under development. Interaction with engineering staff to be exposed to a variety of concepts and experiences. Opportunities to develop both your technical and programmatic skills. What will help you thrive in this role? Must be enrolled in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related degree.
