Analyze needs and existing systems to ensure the integrity, quality, and reliability of company's supply chain.  Work with management to develop systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that materials and products meet quality standards.  Evaluate supplier performance and work with departments to prioritize improvements needed for incoming products and help devise and implement action plans to meet company's incoming quality, reliability, and delivery requirements.  Engage in supply chain management to help minimize inventory costs and ensure complete and effective quality assurance/control plans are implemented for purchased products. Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency and performance.  Conduct quality assurance activities to keep company's customer bases satisfied.  Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, and procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs.
