Are you looking for flexibility and a work/life balance? Come work FOUR hour shifts, 3p-7p 4x per week MONDAY-FRIDAY with no required weekends!

This is a 24 bed skilled nursing facility providing care in a non-traditional way th rough 2 twelve-bed houses. Greenhouse is a pioneering effort in long-term care bringing control back to the elders that live in the houses by honoring their lifelong routines and preferences. In addition to the culture change in care delivery there is also a relationship shift between nurses and the C.N.A's that manage the individual houses.

What you will do:

• Responsible and accountable to utilizing the nursing process to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential problems of individuals or groups.

• On behalf of the Director of Nursing, provides for the continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families

• Perform assessments on elder's that may have had a fall, a decline in condition or perhaps suicidal comments

• Act as the senior liaison and administrative person on the campus and address staffing and family concerns

• Asked to participate in auditing or QA activities

• Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees

Required:

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York

• Associate’s degree in nursing or Degree of Nursing from an accredited school

• 1 year or more of recent experience as a RN in a long-term care facility.

Salary: Up to $50.68 per hour
