Job Summary: Closets by Design Boston is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Shirley, Massachusetts. As a member of the Human Resources department, the Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for all employees. . Responsibilities:   - Process payroll for all employees in the Boston franchise location accurately and timely - Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity - Calculate and process payroll deductions and withholdings - Review and reconcile payroll reports for accuracy and discrepancies - Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on payroll-related matters - Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll tax laws - Collaborate with Human Resources and other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll - Participate in payroll system upgrades and implementations - Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures - Assist with audits and other payroll-related projects as needed - Assist with various tasks in the Human Resources department Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources preferred - 2 years of experience in payroll processing and administration - Knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws and regulations - Working knowledge of payroll systems (Paylocity preferred) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Exceptional organizational and time management skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation & Benefits: - Medical Insurance - Dental Insurance -Retirement savings  - Paid time off and holiday pay EEOC Statement: Closets by Design Boston is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment.
