Staff Educator

Roxbury is currently hiring a Staff Educator to oversee the day-to-day activity of Roxbury Treatment Center's staff development and education program.

Responsibilities of the Staff Educator include conducting an on-going assessment of staff education needs; coordinating the development of programs to meet staff needs; training facility-wide and/or job specific educational needs and evaluating staff response to staff development programs for Roxbury Treatment Center. This position also provides orientation to new and transferring nurses on all units. Responsibilities include facilitating new nurses’ involvement in the daily nursing staff activities as appropriate and recognizing the needs of new/transferred employees. Assists with facilitating other staff as needed in orientation process.

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17.   Qualifications

  Education And Experience:

  Graduate of an accredited nursing program. One-year prior experience in mental health nursing preferred. One-year prior experience in teaching/staff development preferred.

  Licensure & Certification:

  Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse.
