The Robotics Digital Solutions & Technologies builds and assists systems and processes for planning, manufacturing, Digital operations at Amazon Robotics.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with strong knowledge of supply chain systems to solve innovative problems via business process and technology innovations. They will be a highly visible role that will own the communication, coordination execution, and delivery of ERP vision.They will design, coordinate, and execute technical solutions that scale globally. Managing numerous complex systems and organizations, they will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs between business vs. technical constraints, clearly communicate goals, roles, and responsibilities. Working cross-functionally, they will identify and secure commitment from tech teams across the company for ERP System support activities, continuous improvement initiatives, driving consensus on the technical approach. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded technical background as well as a history of leading large projects end-to-end and managing the ERP support portfolio and working experience with managing System Integration partners and Application Managed Services. They will own the team efforts to coordinate across multiple complex ERP and Risk and Compliance systems. They will also identify opportunities to converge overlapping technical efforts, and drive production support to aid the long term strategy. Maturity, high level judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success.

Key job responsibilities

The successful candidate is able to:

  • Manage Operational relationships with support teams and internal operations business partners to drive increases performance

  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

  • Effectively interact and collaborate with Customers, Project Sponsors, Technical Product Managers and multiple internal teams to define and deliver complex solutions

  • Proactively recognize and drive opportunities to simplify processes and make continuous improvements

  • Experience with managing Application Managed services Team

  • Contribute to and influence technical designs

  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities

  • Lead the effective and efficient delivery production support to meet the Service level agreements

  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs with technical constraints

  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels

  • Create, maintain and disseminate program information to stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 3+ years of software development experience

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience · 10+ years of ERP / software systems management experience, Production Support management. Experience with modern tools and environments (e.g., XML, web services, version control systems, bug/issue tracking tools, Project management Tools)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience

  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
