Insight Global Sr. Solutions Architect in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Solutions Architect to join one of our largest retail clients in the Seattle, WA area. You will be joining the Device Management team under the larger Enterprise Mobility organization. This team manages all devices for retail, corporate, and distribution centers including laptops, registers, back off computers, RF ID scanners, store laptops, warehouse and distribution center laptops. As the Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for roadmap planning for future years (1-5 years down the road). You will partner with cross functional teams such as Security and People Enablement to understand current gaps, conduct investigative research for new capabilities and drive long term initiatives. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Design and maintain an Enterprise Mobility roadmap that aligns with the Cloud Infrastructure roadmap

  • Architect Enterprise Mobility configurations and create policies & processes considering industry best practices

  • Design and maintain secure Enterprise Mobility solutions in conjunction with enterprise asset mgmt. platform with multiple MDM solutions.

  • Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP platform.

  • Work with vendors, lululemon architects,and lead engineers todefine best practices and evolve next generation capabilities and features.

  • Participate in all phases of multiple project initiatives, often concurrently, including requirements gathering and analysis, development, design, testing and production planning, reviewing and approving deliverables.

  • Create functional diagrams, interface diagrams, and technical design specifications as related to the business and project requirements.

Provide accurate and timely updates to Product and Project management about shifts in scope, requirements, timelines, and prioritization.

Skills and Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the Technology industry

  • 4+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect

  • Microsoft certifications, ideally Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert & Modern Desktop Administrator certifications

  • Extensive experience with Windows and MacOS device management using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), MS Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) & Jamf Products

  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure AD, Azure Policies, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Conditional Access, implementing Azure RBAC and Azure Privileged Identity Management (PIM & JIT)

  • Proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting - -Strong ability to design and integrate device mgmt. with Enterprise asset mgmt. platform null
