DaVita Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis Training Provided in Seattle, Washington

12610 E Mirabeau PkwySte 100,Spokane Valley,Washington,99216-1450,United States of America Outpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse Spokane Valley, WA primary location - will train Downtown Spokane. * Paid Dialysis training provided - 3 months * 4 day work week - full time hours working 8-12 hour shifts * No Sundays! Rotated Saturdays * Opening shifts begin as early as 4:30am * Closing shifts end as late as 9pm (can change in future based on census * Must have at least 6 months post-graduate RN experience DaVita, which is Italian for "giving life", is on a quest to build the greatest health care community the world has ever seen! We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is looking to give life in one of our outpatient dialysis centers. You can make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. If you haven't considered Nephrology before, read on as we think that you should. Dialysis Experience is NOT required. We provide comprehensive on the job training that will help you become a specialist in this area of nursing. Some details about this position: SCHEDULE: You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, rotated Saturdays, and some holidays. We are closed on Sundays! Full-time teammates generally work 3-4 days per week. LICENSE: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; Graduate Nurse pre-licensure available in some locations DEGREE: Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree TRAINING: Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic with a class of new teammates other than your assigned home clinic, nearby within the region. You must be flexible on the final home clinic placement it may be in a different location; there is also the potential to float to nearby clinics during and after your training A desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way. You know, the way you'd want your own care to be Experience assessing, trouble shooting and making sound recommendations in stressful situations Excellent communication skills to listen and communicate with patients and teammates Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook. You will be required to chart patient's assessment, orders and your care notes in our electronic medical record system.
