Amazon Principal Product Manager - Technical, Purchase Experience & Ordering in Seattle, Washington

Purchase Experience and Ordering (PXO) at Amazon forms the backbone of multiple commerce experiences like Classic Retail, Alexa Shopping, Prime Now, Amazon Fresh, etc. along with powering Physical Stores like Amazon Books, Amazon 4 Stars, Amazon Go, etc. to name a few. We own the customers experience layer and run backbone systems that enable rich and low-latency experiences for the customer to interact with their cart, place orders, modify orders and eventually ensure the order is fulfilled. We run some of the largest hubs on planet earth with 100s - 1000s of dependencies, many of them being executed in real time as we place orders.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Technical, in the PXO product team. The role will be responsible for working across many high visible product areas, while developing & executing a vision that balances forward looking trends in large scale data processing, machine learning and data science with the immediate needs of Ordering.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Seattle, WA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
