Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for surgery by performing pre-operative assessments and ensuring proper documentation.
Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery.
Administer medications and fluids as directed by the physician.
Assist with patient positioning and ensure a sterile surgical environment.
Provide post-operative care and monitoring to patients, including pain management and wound care.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Job Requirements:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques.
