Nordstrom Seasonal Style Advisor - Scottsdale - Hybrid in Scottsdale, Arizona

Job Description

Style Advisors connect one on one with our customers through digital tools like Stylist Chat and Request a Look on Nordstrom.com. Style Advisors also influence a large customer audience by creating Nordstrom.com styling content through Public Looks. This role requires a passion for service and fashion along with styling expertise to serve our customers digitally.

This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Scottsdale area. You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Fashion Square location a minimum of 1 day per week in order to be considered for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to all customer stylist chat inquiries.

  • Help customers learn more about Nordstrom products and how to style them.

  • Use sales and styling expertise as well as product knowledge to create personalized looks when customers use Request a Look feature.

  • Curate styling content to inspire customers shopping on Nordstrom.com.

  • Consistently seek new fashion and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer.

  • Achieve and maintain digital styling performance measures.

  • Select digital stylists will film Salesperson Videos in store to share product features.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in sales required; must be confident in selling all price points and all Nordstrom product

  • Experience with digital selling tools preferred

  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting

  • Proficient in navigating various forms of tools and technology, (e.g., apps)

  • Ability to drive the execution and completion of deliverables on time and with appropriate urgency, such as responding to customer chat in a timely manner

  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organization and follow-through skills

HOURS:

  • This is an hourly position that will require schedule flexibility, including evening and weekend shifts

  • Expected schedule is 40 hours a week comprised of 5, 8-hour shifts

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum upload speed 15 MB/s

  • Minimum download speed 2 MB/s

  • Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training
