Monday – Friday - Hybrid

Annual Salary Range – $70,000 - $87,400

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range DSM expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided.

Salary MIN – MID

As a Senior Customer Compliance Specialist, you will ensure overall quality, completeness, and delivery of customer documentation requests. These requests are for all Human Nutrition (HNC) Premix sites in North America. You will achieve maintenance of external documentation by coordinating and organizing resources and systems. This includes the creation of new statements, as necessary, in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CRM system administration to ensure process efficiency and system accuracy.

  • Coordinate, complete and track progress of documentation requests from customers, including but not limited to: Kosher and Halal certificates, Allergen statements, GMO and BE statements, Nutritional statements, Composition statements and Customer-specified statements and questionnaires.

  • Support top-tier customer documentation and compliance tasks.

  • Communicate with account managers, account specialists and customers regarding the status of tasks, sharing accurate information, and prioritizing tasks.

  • Understand and apply relevant US regulations. Ensure changes in regulations are understood and communicated to employees and customers, as needed.

  • Review customer questions related to US regulations, industry best practices and international standards (e.g., ISO), and provide accurate feedback with respect to HNC Premix manufacturing.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.

  • 10 years of quality assurance or regulatory affairs experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry. Also, knowledge of production processes.

  • Experience with regulatory agencies, e.g., FDA.

  • Leadership, good oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and presentation skills.

  • Subject matter expert in one or more fields: religious requirements, regulatory requirements, customer requirements.

  • Experience utilizing CRM, SAP, Documentum a plus as well as SafetyChain and TraceGains (Portals).

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
