Tatum by Randstad is recruiting for a Senior Accountant to assist a growing Satellite company. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting duties through month-end close, and consolidation of financials. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience preparing corporate tax returns.

This is an onsite position and is near San Jose. The ideal Consultant will need to be available for 30-40/hours weekly.

The compensation range for this contract position is $45/hr. to $55/hr. based on previous experience.

responsibilities:

• Participate in the month-end accounting close; prepare and process accounting transactions and general ledger account reconciliations.

• Prepare and file corporate income tax, and indirect taxes

• Perform currency analysis for newly acquired international entities.

• Obtain currency exchange rates and translate financials from local currencies to USD; propose elimination entries to Controller on a monthly basis.

• Review balance sheet and P&L's for accuracy.

• Assist with the consolidation of financials for various entities (including international)

qualifications:

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience with at least 1 year of recent corporate income tax preparation experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance required.

• Intermediate Excel experience required (Pivot Tables, VLookup's).

• Previous experience with QuickBooks highly preferred.
