Responsibilities

In keeping with Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Team Leader provides for team development and coordinates the plan for patient care with Operating Room personnel. Ensures the perioperative patient's safety through MMC policies and procedures. Works closely with medical, nursing, and ancillary staff, and interacts with other departments. Assists with maintaining, staffing schedules, staff education, and meetings. Assumes leadership role for unit personnel to assist them and serves as a resource person.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years recent Operating Room experience required. Ability to function as a circulating/scrub nurse.

  • Current California Registered Nurse license and current CPR certification.

  • Call is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years leadership experience or basic supervisory course preferred.

  • CNOR preferred.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements

Pay Range

$46.78 - $69.81 /hour
