Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In keeping with the philosophy of Dignity Health the incumbent in this position is responsible for directing all aspects of Employee Health Services and Workers' Compensation for covered employees. This position is accountable for the provision of quality, cost-efficient employee health services and workers' compensation benefits through the use of standardized processes within the Central Coast Market (Marian Regional Medical Center, French Hospital, Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, and Pacific Health Centers). The incumbent collaborates with senior leaders throughout the organization and across all participating departments to ensure health and safety of individuals within the organization and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources. Positions reporting directly to this position are Employee Health / Workers' Compensation staff.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.

  • 3 Years of Management experience in Employee Health in a healthcare setting required.

  • 5 years experience in managing Workers' Compensation claims required.

Licensure:

  • Valid California Registered Nursing license required.

Training:

  • Training in and/or working knowledge of CDPH requirements, Cal/OSHA regulationa, and California Workers' Compensation requirements. required.

$54.12 - $78.47 /hour
